Randomness
Nov. 23rd, 2004 02:15 pmWhat most people don't know about me is that I'm a skirts girl. I love skirts. I love wearing skirts and making myself look nice. I'll wear a skirt at any time of day for any occasion, but just don't ask me to wear a pair of trousers. I hate trousers. Loath them. So much so that I have not worn or owned a pair of trousers in about four years, but now that has all changed because...
I now own a pair of trousers.
This is shocking! Horrifying! Beyond all comprehension! But, I do indeed, now own a pair of trousers. And not only do I now own a pair of trousers, but I actually like them. I think I must've had a temporary lapse of sanity when I bought them, but I really do like them. *shakes head*
Meanwhile, I'm still horribly behind in all things LJ related. I thought I'd get a chance to catch up but I actually think I'm slipping further behind. This is most distressing. :(( Woe.
A few weeks back I received a digital camera as part of a long awaited and very much belated birthday gift from my biological father. I haven't really had a chance to share any the pictures I've taken, but my darling Lily is a photo whore and demanded that I photograph her and share! :D
( So, for your viewing pleasure, Lily, just over a year old. )
And lastly, the Australian Idol final. So, Casey won. I'm not all that surprised, really. To be honest, my interest in Idol began wearing after Daniel left, but I was still pleased with the final result. If I had it my way Daniel or Courtney or Angie or even Ricki-Lee would've been my idol, but Australia made a good choice and I'm glad to see alternative styles winning out over cookie-cutter pop. I think the most disappointing thing about the end Idol is no more Dicko. :(( We loved you Dicko! You will be sorely missed! :((
Oh, and before I forget! I should have my DSL hooked up by the this weekend (providing that everything goes smoothly), so I might actually be able to catch up sooner rather than later!
:D :D :D
